Product Scope：

ASTM A662 specification covers three grades, Grades A, B, and C, it is a kind of carbon-manganese-silicon steel plates intended primarily for service in welded pressure vessels where improved low temperature notch toughness is important. It is mostly used to manufacture middle or low temperature pressure vessels.

As a kind of low alloy steel, chemical composition difference of the 3 steel grades is mainly for Mn element, increasing of Mn content in steel plate will improve yield and tensile strength character.
